As part of our comprehensive management liability program (D&O/EPL) written through AmTrust, we have teamed up with one of the nation’s largest defense litigation law firms, Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP, to provide the insured with a valuable risk management service – a complimentary Directors & Officers and Employment Practices hotline.
Insureds can call the hotline to talk to an experienced D&O or EPL attorney regarding a wide variety of management liability issues including potential legal issues such as breach of fiduciary duty by a director or officer, such as alleged violation of company bylaws or allegations of improper investment of funds; claims by investors of negligent investing; minority shareholder valuation claims; shareholder disputes; or other D&O law issues; as well as employee discipline and termination of employment; sick leave; attendance; harassment claims; conducting investigations; or other workplace and employment law issues.
The hotline is FREE and available while your client’s AmTrust policy is in effect. Any communication through the hotline is confidential and is protected by attorney-client privilege. The communication between the insured and Wilson Elser will not constitute notice of claim as these calls are strictly informative. The insured can call the hotline as many times as they require since there is no limit on the number of calls they can place.
