Euclid Program Managers Launches New Financial Lines MGA in London
Euclid Program Managers (“Euclid”) today announced the launch of Euclid Financial & Professional Risks, a managing general agency committed to delivering comprehensive Professional Indemnity, Financial Institutions and Management Liability solutions for firms domiciled outside the US (therefore complimenting the appetite/strategy of Euclid sister companies). Euclid Financial & Professional Risks will be led by industry veteran underwriter John Dexter.
John is the Managing Principal of Euclid Financial & Professional Risks and brings 23 years of industry experience focusing solely in the financial lines space. Prior to joining John held senior positions at Aon, Willis, Travelers and most recently served as AVP at CNA Hardy, where he led the Financial Institutions and Management Liability business units for their Lloyd’s, UK and Continental Europe platforms.
John is joined in the leadership team by Chris Savvas as Principal. Chris has 20 years experience in the UK and International Professional Indemnity market having worked at Travelers, QBE, Chubb and most recently Newline Syndicate where he had global P&L responsibility for their Professional Indemnity portfolio.
Joining John and Chris at launch is Joe St John as Senior PI underwriter and James Sterling as Claims Counsel.
Joe has 17 years experience in the International PI market having started his career as a broker with Lockton before spending the last 10 years at IGI.
James has 20 years claims experience working within the Lloyd’s and Company financial lines market in a variety of claims handling, claims manager, head of claims and transformation roles. James is also a qualified lawyer having spent first 7 years of his career at CMS Cameron McKenna. He has also served as chair of the Lloyd’s Market Association FIPI Claims Committee.
